Muhammad Khalifa, PhD, is president of the Culturally Responsive School Leadership Institute and a professor of educational administration at the Ohio State University. A former public school teacher and administrator in Detroit, he is the author of Affirming Students' Cultures and Communities (Quick Reference Guide) and The Six Keys to Culturally Responsive Instructional Leadership.
